Job summary

Deel is seeking an Associate Operations Director in Bolzano, Italy to oversee day-to-day operations across cross-functional teams in a fintech-enabled SaaS environment. You will drive automation, risk controls, and scalable improvements to enhance service delivery and customer outcomes.

You will lead initiatives to reduce friction, monitor KPIs, and align processes with go-to-market strategies, expansion plans, and post-launch optimization. Remote-friendly role with WeWork options.

• 12+ years of operations experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments (Tech/FinTech startup experience a plus)
• Proven track record in leading and scaling large cross-functional teams
• KPI-driven with a results orientation
• Experience in building successful products
• Background in FinTech, management consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced startups
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
• High energy and first-principles thinking
• Strong analytical skills with ability to convert data into actionable insights (SQL a plus)
