Job summary

Deel is seeking an Associate Operations Director to oversee day-to-day operations, scale processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced fintech-enabled SaaS environment.

You will drive automation, risk controls, and market-ready readiness for new services, shaping operational excellence and improving customer outcomes while collaborating across teams to reduce friction and accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of operations experience with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments (Tech/FinTech startup experience a plus)
• Proven track record in leading and scaling large cross-functional teams
• KPI-driven with a results orientation
• Experience in building successful products
• Background in FinTech, management consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced startups
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
• High energy and first-principles thinking
• Strong analytical skills with ability to convert data into actionable insights (SQL a plus)
• Willingness to collaborate and contribute across teams
