Job summary

Sartorius is seeking an Application Specialist (F/M) to deliver application expertise, technical consultations and product support across the customer lifecycle in Italy. You will help customers integrate our portfolio into their processes and support onboarding and trials.

In this role, you will work with Sales, Product Management and Quality to address technical needs, document outcomes and influence portfolio improvements. Willingness to travel >50% is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience (3+ years) in life sciences.
• In-depth knowledge of products, applications and customer workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and application-related issues in customer environments.
• Documentation of findings, trials and recommendations in a structured manner.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Quality.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% for external customer activities.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations and provide product/workflow recommendations.
• Design, coordinate and document customer-specific trials and onboarding plans.
• Troubleshoot inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio enhancements.
• Share field observations and feedback with Product Management and stakeholders.
• Travel extensively to engage with customers.
