Delivery Mates in Italy is seeking a Senior Logistics Operations Manager to lead our Italian operations and drive performance across Milan, Bologna and Rome. You will own the operational KPIs, manage P&L and budgets, and represent the company in weekly client meetings with key accounts.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics in Italy, strong numerical skills and advanced Excel, plus experience leading multi-city teams and running client-facing reviews.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in logistics operations in Italy.
• Proven experience managing P&L and budgets for an operations function.
• Very strong numerical skills and a data-driven mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling, data analysis).
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-city operations teams.
• Comfortable running client-facing meetings and presenting KPIs/action plans.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Milan, Bologna and Rome (and other cities as needed).
• Fluent English (spoken and written); Italian strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Own the operational metrics (on-time performance, delivery quality, productivity, safety).
• Lead and coach local teams across multiple cities.
• Hold weekly operational meetings with key clients and present KPIs and action plans.
• Manage the operations P&L, budgets and forecasts with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Fleet and IT to ensure smooth operations.
• Build dashboards and standard reports to monitor performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
