Job summary
Leonardo DRS in Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA) is seeking an ELI - Sales Engineering Specialist to translate customer needs into technical proposals for international sales campaigns. You will assess requirements, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate with Engineering, Program Managers and Sales to build feasible, compliant offers.
The role requires an engineering degree, strong English, excellent PowerPoint/Excel skills, and willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (preferably aeronautical) or STEM.
- Excellent/Good proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Excellent/Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Interest in aeronautical technologies and rotorcrafts operational requirements.
- Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Ready for travel and short/long-term assignments; car owner preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess customer requirements and draft technical proposals.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Program Managers to build feasible offers.
- Support pre-bid activities with product information and competitive analysis.
- Assist in negotiations by evaluating technical deviations.
- Define commercial configurations and contribute to Product Marketing plans.
- Analyze platform performance versus competitors.
