Leonardo SpA in IT - Varese, Cascina Costa, is seeking a Junior Electrical Systems Engineer to design, verify, and support electrical power and lighting systems across helicopter platforms.

You will handle system architecture, requirements capture, test documentation, and integration activities, including NVIS, de-icing, and power management, with involvement from definition to in-service performance; the role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a structured career path.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or related field) required.
• Skilled in electrical network modelling and Simulation tools software (Matlab, Simulink, Amesim).
• Knowledge of electrical systems (machines, inverter, converter, storage).
• Experience in project management and reporting to the head of function.
• Good English, written and spoken.
• Proactive approach to tasks.

Mansioni

• System architecture definition, design and analysis.
• Requirements capture, allocation, derivation, validation and verification.
• Preparation of technical specifications and other project documentation.
• Review of electrical design, including engineering drawings.
• Conduct presentations at technical design reviews.
• Preparation of test documentation and conduct integration testing.
• Participate in aircraft trials.
• Support test at the Electric Lab.
• Qualification and certification of equipment and systems.
• Technical management of internal / external suppliers.
• Supporting bid activities with future Customers.
