Job summary

Volta Structural Energy Srl in Lombardy seeks a Head of Business Development to turn technical validation into binding commercial agreements for aerospace and defense markets. You will lead complex, long-cycle deals and coordinate with CEO, engineering, and key partners.

You will manage Tier-1 relationships, structure PoCs, pilot programs, and off take agreements, building a scalable commercial pipeline in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development or key account management in aerospace, defense, or related sectors.
• Experience with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder procurement.
• Ability to discuss technical concepts with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial relationships with aerospace and defense customers.
• Support the conversion of PoCs and qualification programs into commercial agreements.
• Coordinate customer requirements with internal technical teams.
• Support negotiations for pilot programs, demo supply, and offtake agreements.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a qualified commercial pipeline.
