Avio Aero in Italy seeks a delivery-focused supply chain professional to lead supplier performance and risk mitigation for critical parts. You will partner with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimize inventory while reducing delinquency.

The role requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills, with fluency in English and ability to travel nationally and internationally. A master’s or relevant bachelor’s degree is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field; or Bachelor's with relevant work experience.
• Experience in supplier management, material planning, sourcing, supplier development, supplier quality, or related supply chain roles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive practical solutions.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English and able to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain understanding of suppliers’ capabilities, capacity, and risks to mitigate delivery issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead actions to reduce delinquency and improve delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers, visit when needed, and escalate issues based on impact.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Material Planning, Finance, and Buyers to ensure smooth operations.
• Support risk mitigation and recovery plans for critical parts affecting performance.
• Track KPIs and drive actions to improve delivery, delinquency, and inventory.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve issue visibility and execution.
• Continuously seek improvements via simplification and knowledge development.
