Job summary

Bosch Engineering GmbH Italy is seeking a Sales Manager / Business Developer to drive new opportunities in Defense and Aviation. You will identify stakeholders, manage prospecting and build strategic partnerships across Italy, collaborating with management and technical teams to grow the defense market.

The role requires 2–4 years in similar commercial roles, a degree in engineering, and willingness to travel. Salary €45,000–€60,000 with a performance bonus and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace, Electronic, Mechatronics, Telecommunications or Mechanical.
• 2-4 years of experience in commercial or business development roles within Defense, Aerospace / Aviation, Engineering Services.
• Experience managing complex clients in structured industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within Defense sector.
• Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within strategic clients.
• Manage commercial prospecting activities and relationship network development.
• Promote engineering services and component development solutions.
• Drive cross-selling initiatives and support transversal competencies.
• Build and consolidate strategic partnerships with major industry players and institutions.
• Collaborate with industrial and consulting partners to access new projects.
• Support the definition of commercial offers with Project Leaders.
• Manage commercial negotiation activities.
• Conduct scouting and business development activities within the Aviation sector.
• Support partnership development and acquisition of new business opportunities.
• Manage relationships with clients and industry partners.
