Job summary

Kardex Remstar is seeking an accounting generalist to strengthen our Italian finance team in Milan. You will manage the accounts payable cycle, support month-end closings, and ensure tax compliance, collaborating with the parent company and auditors.

Ideal candidates hold an accounting diploma or economics degree, are fluent in Italian and English, and have strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge along with SAP experience. Flexible hybrid work in Milan is offered.

Qualifications

• Accounting Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Italian GAAP.
• Familiarity with AP processes and month-end closing.
• Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoices to cost center allocation.
• Monitor supplier due dates and prepare payments.
• Handle reconciliations (accounting, bank, intercompany).
• Support monthly and annual closings and tax reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants.
• Participate in projects to improve internal controls.
