Job summary

WeRoad Ltd is seeking a Finance Accountant in Milan (Hybrid) to lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting, manage payables/receivables, and support budgeting and forecasting. You will ensure compliance with Italian GAAP and IFRS where relevant, contributing to audits and process improvements.

The role requires 1–2 years in accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Experience in accounting/finance is preferred (1–2 years).
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.
• Knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Support budgeting and forecasting, analyzing variances.
• Ensure compliance with laws and accounting standards; support audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting operations.
• Partner with teams to deliver financial insights for initiatives.
