Job summary

Kardex Remstar in Milan, Italy, seeks an Accounts Payable professional to strengthen the Italian finance team. The role focuses on end-to-end AP processing, supplier payments, and collaboration with auditors.

You will contribute to monthly closings and ensure compliance with IFRS and Italian GAAP. The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Italian and English, with experience in SAP or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent with solid accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Italian GAAP.
• Experience with accounts payable processes, journal entries and month-end close.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One or SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable cycle, including invoice verification and posting.
• Monitor supplier due dates and prepare timely payments.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Contribute to financial reporting and management analyses.
• Ensure VAT, Intrastat and other statutory reporting compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors.
