Job summary

Lavya Associates HR Services invites applications for the role of Zonal Manager-Training in a premier Life Insurance Company, with a base in Delhi. The position drives strategic training initiatives across zones, aligning learning with sales targets and product-mix objectives.

You will oversee induction programs, selling skills, and product/process updates, managing a multi-tier training team while ensuring IRDAI compliance and tracking persistency metrics to boost performance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic LD Ownership: Align the zonal training blueprint with annual corporate sales targets and product-mix objectives.
• Formulate learning interventions to scale up performance in core banking channels, partner segments, and hybrid sales teams like the Customer Advisory Team (CAT).
• Conduct structured Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify regional skill gaps among frontline sales (FLS) teams and bank employees.
• Stakeholder Channel Partner Management: Partner with Zonal Business Heads, Regional Managers, and Bank leadership to co-create training calendars and drive digital learning adoption.
• Act as the primary strategic interface for banking partners to ensure smooth product launches, regulatory updates, and certification execution.
• Coordinate joint strategic initiatives to improve underperforming regions and win back market share in key banking branches.
• Training Delivery Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of comprehensive Induction Programs, Selling Skills modules, and Product/Process updates.
• Execute blended learning pathways encompassing traditional smart classroom formats, virtual training loops, and self-paced digital modules.
• Lead on-ground field coaching, joint customer calls, and role-play assessments to validate training translation into active sales velocity.
• Team Management Capability Building: Recruit, upskill, and manage a team of multi-tiered training professionals across the assigned zone.
• Establish robust Performance Management Systems (PMS) for trainers to measure training efficacy, branch activation percentages, and persistency benchmarks.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and feedback forums to facilitate internal talent transitions and reduce attrition.
• Compliance Business Quality Assurance: Ensure absolute compliance with IRDAI guidelines, moral business ethics, and data reporting standards during all instructional setups.
• Track critical business health metrics post-training, specifically 13th and 15th-month premium persistency, and reduction of customer grievances.
