Job summary

Aspiro Pharma Ltd. is seeking a senior professional to lead our pharmaceutical warehouse operations in Hyderabad. You will drive end-to-end material handling, ensure cGMP/GDP compliance, and manage audits and CAPA across the supply chain.

The role requires extensive experience with sterile/injectable manufacturing, SAP/ERP and WMS, strong leadership, and the ability to optimize inventory and processes for safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years in Sterile/Injectable Manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience with USFDA, MHRA, EU GMP, WHO-GMP and regulatory inspections.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and WMS.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage large warehouse teams.
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and EHS.
  • Proven track record in inventory management, audits, and CAPA.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including receipt, storage, dispensing, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage storage, handling, and disposition of materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Implement FIFO/FEFO, manage expiry and obsolescence proactively.
  • Ensure material availability to support production schedules and minimize disruptions.
  • Supervise dispensing operations and ensure material accountability and documentation.
  • Monitor temperature-controlled storage to meet approved requirements.
  • Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
  • Record all warehouse transactions in SAP/ERP and maintain controls.
  • Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits with CAPA closure.
  • Develop and mentor warehouse personnel, fostering safety and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and space utilization.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, dispensing, issuance, inventory control, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
  2. Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, EHS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  3. Manage storage and handling of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Consumables, Quarantine, Approved, Rejected, Returned, and Finished Goods.
  4. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and periodic physical verification.
  5. Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO practices and proactively manage material expiry and obsolescence.
  6. Ensure timely availability of materials to support production schedules and prevent manufacturing disruptions.
  7. Supervise dispensing operations and ensure proper material accountability and documentation.
  8. Monitor temperature-controlled and cold-chain storage conditions to ensure compliance with approved storage requirements.
  9. Coordinate effectively with QA, QC, Production, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  10. Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded in SAP/ERP systems and maintain effective inventory controls.
  11. Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely closure of observations through CAPA.
  12. Develop, train, and manage warehouse personnel while fostering a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
  13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse productivity, inventory optimization, compliance, cost reduction, and space utilization.
Preferred candidate profile
  • 10-15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sterile/Injectable Manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience handling USFDA, MHRA, EU GMP, WHO-GMP, and other regulatory inspections.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong experience in injectable/sterile pharmaceutical warehouse operations.
  • Thorough understanding of cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and EHS requirements.
  • Proven track record in inventory management, warehouse optimization, and audit management.
  • Experience managing large warehouse teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP, inventory management, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
