Job summary

BEST-FIT Recruitment Riders is seeking a seasoned Manager Warehouse for its pharma-focused client in Hyderabad to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong inventory control, team leadership, and collaboration with QA, QC, R&D, Procurement, and Production to ensure timely material availability and accurate documentation in Tally. You will drive safety and process improvements across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is required.
• 8-12 years of warehouse and material management experience, preferably in pharma.
• Knowledge of SOPs, regulatory requirements, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations for receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure activities follow SOPs, quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock transactions in Tally.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, R&D, Procurement, Production for materials availability.
• Lead warehouse staff with training and safety adherence.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock verification, and audits.

Job Profile:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations covering material receipt, storage, issuance, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, intermediates, packing materials, and finished products.
• Ensure warehouse activities are performed in accordance with company SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines, including routine environmental monitoring.
• Manage the receipt, verification, inspection, and documentation of incoming chemicals, reagents, laboratory consumables, and clinical trial materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in Tally and ensure timely recording of all material movements and stock transactions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of temperature-controlled, hazardous, sensitive, and restricted materials as per approved procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with QA, QC, R& D, Procurement, Production, and other functional teams to ensure timely availability and smooth movement of materials.
• Maintain proper material identification, labelling, segregation, and traceability for items under quarantine, approved, rejected, or other defined status.
• Lead and monitor warehouse personnel, ensuring adequate training, adherence to SOPs, workplace safety, and good warehouse practices.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts, physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and stock audits, and investigate and resolve discrepancies appropriately.
• Maintain complete warehouse documentation and records required for internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure high standards of warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping, safety, pest control, and equipment maintenance in accordance with company requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material handling, space utilization, and overall operational effectivenes.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Material Management, or a relevant discipline.
• 812 years of relevant experience in warehouse and material management operations, preferably from Pharma API / Bulk Drugs or Chemical industry.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse practices, material handling procedures, inventory control, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Tally or similar inventory management systems, with good understanding of stock records and material transactions.
• Strong capabilities in team supervision, coordination, planning, and warehouse organization.
• Practical experience in the safe storage and handling of hazardous, temperature-sensitive, controlled, and regulated materials.
• Good knowledge of SOP compliance, documentation, material traceability, segregation, and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with QA, QC, R& D, Procurement, Production, and other departments.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability, attention to detail, ownership, and a systematic approach to warehouse operations.
• Ability to work in a regulated, quality-focused, and safety-conscious environment while maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.
