Job summary

Unichem Laboratories is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for our Ghaziabad facility. The role focuses on compliant receipt, storage, and dispensing of materials, adherence to GMP/cGMP and GDP standards, and coordination across departments to ensure seamless production planning and inventory control.

The candidate will lead training on cGMP, review critical warehouse records, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations to support timely deliveries and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to USFDA audits and regulatory expectations.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/cGMP, GDP and related warehouse documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure receipt, storage and dispensing per status labels and SOPs.
• Close Change Controls, Deviations and CAPAs related to warehouse activities.
• Review inventory reports and take corrective actions as needed.
• Sign and maintain warehouse records to meet SOP requirements.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with the receipt and storage of materials as per status labels, recommended storage conditions, retrieval procedures, and timely dispensing.
• Ensure products are stored in accordance with approved documentation and procedures related to warehouse operations.
• Ensure timely closure of Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs related to warehouse activities.
• Review and evaluate inventory reports (Daily Receipt, Dead/Nonmoving Stock, Consumption Report) and take necessary actions.
• Review and sign various warehouse records to meet SOP requirements.
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for building and stock security.
• Prioritize loads per shift based on production needs to ensure optimal utilization of work centres.
• Provide training on cGMP and departmental procedures and monitor employee performance and progress.
• Execute production plans and meet delivery schedules as committed by the plant.
• Facilitate calibration and verification of warehouse equipment and prepare related SOPs.
• Assist the finance team with stock verification and related activities.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork to ensure high productivity.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Engineering, Purchase, IT, and other departments for smooth production planning.
• Ensure effective implementation of GMP activities within the warehouse.
• Release PRs for raw materials, packing materials, and consumables in SAP.
• Oversee scrap management including segregation, vehicle arrangement, and sale to vendors as per contract.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Ensure completion of departmental training for new joiners.
• Prepare and maintain the Annual Training Calendar and conduct planned training sessions.
• Prepare Training Need Identification (TNI) as per departmental roles.
• Act as Learning Administrator and prepare training content in the LMS, assign training to employees including uploading SOPs and creating exams.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Proven work experience in Warehouse department in a reputable pharmaceutical industry. Experience in heading Quality department in a reputed OSD / Formulations pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in USFDA audit compliance with strong understanding of global regulatory requirements.
• Strong expertise in GMP/cGMP, GDP, and warehouse documentation compliance.
• Strong communication skills for effective crossfunctional coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, demanding, time‑line‑driven environment
• Ability to work independently and in team environment.
