Job description

The Warehouse Dispensing Executive will be responsible for managing material dispensing, inventory control, documentation, and GMP‑compliant warehouse operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setup. This involves dispensing raw materials and packing materials as per production requirements, ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining material status, and coordinating with production, QA, QC, and purchase teams. The candidate should have strong warehouse knowledge, documentation discipline, and attention to material handling compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispensing of raw materials and packing materials as per approved requisitions and batch requirements.
• Verify material name, batch number, quantity, status, expiry, retest date, and storage condition before dispensing.
• Ensure dispensing activities are performed as per SOPs, GMP, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate dispensing records, material issue slips, stock registers, and warehouse logbooks.
• Coordinate with QA for line clearance, material release status, sampling, and dispensing verification.
• Follow FIFO, FEFO, and material segregation practices during warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper labeling, weighing, packing, and transfer of dispensed materials.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, damaged stock, or expired materials.
• Support material receipt, storage, reconciliation, and inventory verification activities when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and controlled conditions in dispensing and warehouse areas.
• Handle hazardous, sensitive, or temperature‑controlled materials as per approved procedures.
• Coordinate with production, QC, purchase, and logistics teams for material availability.
• Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections related to warehouse operations.
• Prepare warehouse MIS reports, pending material updates, and dispensing activity summaries.
• Ensure data accuracy, material traceability, and compliance with pharmaceutical warehouse standards.
