Job summary

JAIN HOUSING & CONSTRUCTION in India is seeking a Stores Executive with 3-6+ years of experience on residential high-rise or construction projects. You will receive, inspect and verify materials, maintain stock records, issue materials to site teams and coordinate with purchase and accounts for bill processing.

The role requires hands-on GRN and material control, inventory reconciliation, stock level monitoring and proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP or Tally preferred).

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Com/B.Sc or graduate with stores experience.
• 3-6+ years as Stores Executive on residential high-rise or construction projects.
• Hands-on with GRN, material issue, stock management and inventory control.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records for inward, issue and balance of construction materials and consumables.
• Issue materials to contractors and site teams against approved requisitions and keep issue registers.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Prepare GRNs and MIRs, and coordinate with purchase and accounts for bill processing.
• Monitor stock levels, raise indents for low-stock and prevent shortages/overstocking.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, safety and security of materials and control wastage.
• Maintain records of returns, scrap, rejected materials and contractor material reconciliation.

• Monitor stock levels, raise indents for low-stock and critical items, and avoid shortages and overstocking
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, safety and security of materials, and control wastage and pilferage
• Maintain records of returns, scrap, rejected materials and contractor material reconciliation

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma/B.Com/B.Sc, or a graduate in any discipline with relevant stores experience
• 3-6+ years of experience as a Stores Executive on residential high-rise or construction projects
• Hands-on experience in GRN, material issue, stock management and inventory control
• Good knowledge of construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical and plumbing items
• Experience with Mivan (aluminium formwork) projects is an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and an ERP or inventory system (SAP or Tally preferred)
• Good coordination, record-keeping and communication skills, with attention to detail
