Mythri Builders is seeking a Store Keeper to manage the receipt, storage, and movement of construction materials at the site and store. The role involves verifying items against Purchase Orders, challans, and invoices, and maintaining accurate stock records.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in store keeping, strong knowledge of stock management, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory software. Attention to detail and good coordination with site teams are essential.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issue, and movement of materials at the site/store.
• Receive and verify materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and invoices.
• Check the quantity, quality, specifications, and condition of incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, GRN, Material Issue Notes, and inventory records.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, consumption, and material requirements to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock with system records.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, stacking, and handling of materials to prevent damage and wastage.
• Maintain records of construction materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and safety items.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Project, Accounts, Site Engineers, Contractors, and Suppliers for material requirements.
• Identify and report damaged, excess, shortage, or slow-moving materials.
• Maintain the store in a clean, organized, and safe condition as per company standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory/stock reports for management.
• Ensure timely updating of inventory data in MS Excel/ERP or inventory management systems.
• Follow company policies and health, safety, and material handling procedures.
• Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation whenever required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 12th / Diploma / Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in Store Keeping or Inventory Management, preferably in Real Estate/Construction.
• Good knowledge of material handling, stock management, and inventory control.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/Inventory Software.
• Familiar with GRN, Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, Material Issue Notes, and stock reconciliation.
• Strong record-keeping, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with site, purchase, accounts, and vendor teams.
• Ability to manage stock accurately and independently in a fast-paced site environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and committed to safety and proper material handling.
