Job summary

Smpp is seeking a dedicated Tender/Bid Manager in India to identify, monitor, and respond to tenders across GeM, CPPP, and defense/public sector portals. You will review documents and coordinate with internal teams to build compliant bids.

The role emphasizes thorough documentation, strict deadline adherence, and clear communication with clients and vendors. A graduate from any discipline is suitable; experience in defence or PSU procurement is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Tender/Bid Management and Government Procurement.
• Hands-on experience with GeM, CPPP and e-Tendering portals.
• Excellent documentation, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Proficient MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates from Defence, Manufacturing, Engineering, PSU/Government Procurement backgrounds preferred.
• Experience handling Defence/Army/Navy/Air Force/DRDO/DPSU/PSU/CAPF or government tenders will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
