Role & responsibilities
Desktop & End-User Support
- Maintain and support user desktops and laptops to ensure optimal performance
- Provide end-user support for software configuration and issue resolution
- Support operating systems, telephony, LAN/WAN networks, and printers
Hardware & Peripheral Management
- Verify functionality of peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) and coordinate timely repairs
- Configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and basic server environments
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, and server-related complaints
Operating System & Software Management
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems including Windows and Linux
- Install and update software, drivers, and peripheral components
Network & Connectivity Support
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues and ensure network stability
Security & Antivirus Management
- Install, update, and monitor antivirus software on client and server systems
- Assist in implementing information security procedures and antivirus DAT upgrades
- Ensure regular antivirus updates across all assigned systems
Asset Management & Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of desktop and server downtime
- Conduct monthly IT asset verification and maintain updated asset records
- Indication during incidents, maintenance windows, and escalations.
