Job summary

OYO is seeking a Venue Manager to drive sales, manage venue revenue, and oversee events to ensure a premium customer experience. You will connect leads via a calling app, sign contracts, and coordinate with vendors for optimal pricing.

The role requires 1 year in B2C/inside sales, English and local language fluency, travel to venues, and ownership of a smartphone and Windows 11 Pro laptop. Six-day work weeks and travel reimbursement are part of the package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience in B2C/inside sales.
• Prior experience in hotel/events/hospitality preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluency in English and local language.
• Willingness to travel to assigned venues (travel reimbursement applicable).
• Must own a smartphone (Android 7+ with call recording).
• Must own a Windows 11 Pro laptop (device allowance monthly).
• Preferably own a two-wheeler for commuting.
• Willing to work 6 days a week (weekends; Monday off).

Responsibilities

• Connect all incoming leads through the calling app and drive lead conversion to meet sales targets.

• Ensure target achievement through revenue gen and collections across venues and products.
• Maintain smooth venue operations via stakeholder management (internal and external).
• Supervise events to deliver excellent customer experience.
• Sign contracts with customers for sales bookings on behalf of the company.
• Identify and negotiate vendor rates and contracts per central guidance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

A Venue Manager will be responsible to -

1. Ensure all incoming customer leads are connected with through the calling app(Avg 50+ customer call on daily basis) and lead conversion / sales maximisation to achieve sales target and drive profitability along with other business metrics, as communicated.
2. Revenue management to ensure revenue flow through healthy customer and owner relationships and execution of effective marketing solutions, as launched time to time
3. 3. Ensure target achievement through revenue generation & collection effectively split across venues and products/packages tagged to them 4. To ensure smooth operations at the venue through stakeholder management (both internal and external)
4. 5. Supervise and ensure smooth execution of events for an excellent customer experience
5. 6. Signing authority for entering into contracts with customers for sales bookings on behalf of company
6. 7. Vendor optimization identification and negotiation of vendor rates for signing and approving contracts as per guidance from the central team

Preferred candidate profile
