Job summary

Skyonn Technologies is seeking a seasoned US IT Recruitment Supervisor/Lead to mentor and guide our Hyderabad team. This role requires hands-on recruitment leadership, ownership of onsite operations, and deep understanding of US IT roles and immigration processes.

You will balance leading from the front with coaching, stepping in to recruit when needed, and ensuring targets, quality, and timelines are met across night shift and US overlap hours.

US IT RECRUITMENT SUPERVISOR / LEAD:

We are looking for a strong, dependable, and hands-on US IT Recruitment Supervisor/Lead to

manage and mentor our team of US IT Recruiters in Hyderabad. This is not just a people-

management role. We are looking for someone who can lead from the front, understand US IT

recruitment deeply, step in and recruit independently when required, and take complete

ownership of the onsite recruitment team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of US IT Recruiters and drive day-to-day recruitment activities.
• Monitor recruiter performance, productivity, pipelines, submissions, interviews, and closures.
• Set clear goals and ensure the team consistently meets recruitment targets and timelines.
• Provide hands-on coaching on US IT sourcing, screening, candidate evaluation, and closing techniques.
• Personally handle critical, difficult, or high-priority requirements when needed.
• Work independently and step in wherever required to keep the recruitment operation moving.
• Review candidate quality and ensure recruiters are submitting candidates who genuinely match client requirements.
• Ensure recruiters understand US work authorization categories, including H-1B, OPT, EAD, GC, US Citizen, and other relevant statuses.
• Help the team understand technical requirements across various IT technologies and skill sets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain recruitment dashboards and provide regular updates on team performance, challenges, and hiring progress.
• Coordinate closely with onsite leadership and act as the primary bridge between the recruitment team and management.
• Handle escalations professionally and resolve day-to-day recruitment and team-related issues.
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership, discipline, and teamwork.
• Ensure smooth operations during the US/night shift and overlap hours.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of US IT Recruitment / US Staffing experience, with prior experience leading or supervising recruiters.
• Proven experience managing a team of US IT Recruiters.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of US IT technologies, technical roles, and staffing practices.
• Strong understanding of US immigration/work authorization, including H-1B, OPT, EAD, GC, US Citizen, etc.
• Excellent understanding of US geography, time zones, and major technology markets.
• Strong sourcing, screening, negotiation, candidate management, and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify performance issues and coach recruiters toward improvement.
• Highly self-driven, accountable, and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable taking ownership without waiting for instructions.
• Strong judgment, maturity, discretion, and professional integrity.
• Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive business matters responsibly.
