Job summary

GBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a motivated US IT Recruiter to join our recruiting team. You will source, screen, and submit candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire IT roles in the US market, while building a strong pipeline.

You will use LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter, assess candidates against job requirements, and work closely with account managers to meet targets and deliver results.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in US IT Recruiting or US Staffing.
• Strong understanding of the US IT recruitment lifecycle.
• Experience recruiting for technologies such as Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data, QA, Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, Infrastructure, and Project Management.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar sourcing platforms.
• Good understanding of W2, 1099, C2C, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire hiring models.
• Familiarity with US work authorization categories and staffing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals using LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, and other sourcing platforms.
• Review resumes and assess candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, work authorization, and job requirements.
• Conduct phone and video screenings to evaluate candidates' technical background and fit.
• Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate the submission process.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability with clients.
• Negotiate pay rates, salary, and employment terms with candidates as needed.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT professionals for current and future requirements.

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT professionals for current and future requirements.
• Develop long-term relationships with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Stay updated on current US IT staffing trends, technologies, job markets, and hiring practices.
• Meet daily and monthly recruiting targets and performance metrics.
