Job summary

EY in India is seeking a QA specialist to lead integration testing across Benchling and Signals platforms. You’ll design and execute tests, validate data exchange, and help ensure traceability from requirements to defects.

You’ll collaborate with Benchling Analysts and integration teams, and contribute to XRAY test management within Jira, supporting CI/CD workflows and ensuring quality in complex data-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Benchling, Signals, or lab informatics systems.
• Strong understanding of data synchronization and test automation.
• Proficient in REST/API testing and data validation.
• Experience designing and executing test cases and managing defects.
• Familiarity with XRAY within Jira and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases in XRAY (Jira-integrated test management).
• Validate integration flows for sample data synchronization and metadata exchange.
• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Review and interpret integration design specifications for Signals/Benchling.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scripts, and defects.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
  • REST/API testing
  • Data validation
• Experience in:
  • Test case design and execution
  • Regression testing and integration testing
  • Defect lifecycle management
