Job summary

EY Advisory Services in Bengaluru is seeking a senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in scientific data systems and lab informatics. You will design and automate tests for data synchronization workflows using Benchling and Signals, and contribute to XRAY/Jira-based test management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA/testing for data integration and lab informatics.
• Experience with Benchling and Signals data systems and LIMS.
• Knowledge of integration testing for data synchronization workflows.
• Exposure to XRAY (Jira-integrated test management) and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with REST/API testing and data validation.
• Experience designing and executing test cases, regression/integration testing, and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases for integration flows (Signals/Benchling).
• Perform regression and integration testing and manage defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Validate integration design specifications and ensure traceability to requirements and tests.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
  • REST/API testing
  • Data validation
• Experience in:
  • Test case design and execution
