Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned QA/Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in data integration and lab informatics. The role focuses on validating Benchling and Signals integration testing, REST API validation, and data synchronization workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience in data integration or lab informatics domains.
• Experience with Benchling or Signals integration testing is essential.
• Strong understanding of REST/API testing and data validation.
• Exposure to XRAY (Jira-integrated test management) and test automation frameworks.
• Ability to design and execute test cases for data synchronization workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation.
• Experience with test case design, regression testing, and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases for integration flows between Benchling and Signals.
• Validate sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle status updates across systems.
• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Use XRAY to manage test cases and traceability from requirements to defects.
• Review integration specifications and ensure traceability and data validation across environments.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
