Job summary

EY in India is seeking an experience test engineer to drive integration testing across Benchling and Signals platforms. You will design and execute test plans, verify data synchronization workflows, and ensure quality through XRAY/Jira-based test management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration testing and test automation.
• Experience with Benchling, Signals, or lab informatics systems.
• Strong knowledge of data synchronization workflows and REST/API testing.
• Familiar with XRAY and Jira-integrated test management.
• Experience in designing and executing test cases, regression and defects lifecycle.

• Design, create, and execute test cases in XRAY.
• Validate sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle updates.
• Review integration specs and ensure traceability from requirements to defects.
• Collaborate with Benchling tech analysts and integration teams.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
  • REST/API testing
  • Data validation
• Experience in:
  • Test case design and execution
  • Regression testing and integration testing
  • Defect lifecycle management
