Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned QA/Test Automation professional to join our integration testing team in India. You will design and execute test cases for Benchling and Signals integration, validate data exchanges, and ensure traceability from requirements to defects using XRAY in Jira.

Qualifications

• Experience with Benchling, Signals, or related scientific data systems.
• Experience with integration testing and data synchronization workflows.
• Exposure to XRAY and test management in Jira.
• Familiarity with REST/API testing and data validation.
• Experience in test case design, regression and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases for Benchling Signals integration in XRAY (Jira).
• Validate sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle status updates across systems.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scripts and defects.
• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
  • REST/API testing
  • Data validation
• Experience in:
  • Test case design and execution
  • Regression testing and integration testing
  • Defect lifecycle management
