Job summary

EY in India is seeking an experienced quality engineer to join our integration testing team. You will design and execute test cases for Benchling and Signals integrations, perform XRAY/Jira-based test management, and ensure data synchronization across systems.

The role requires 5+ years' experience with REST API testing, Selenium or Robot Framework, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with Benchling Analysts and integration teams to validate reagent lifecycle updates and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in integration testing and test automation.
• Experience with Benchling and Signals integration testing.
• Familiar with XRAY (Jira-integrated test management) and test automation frameworks.
• Experience in REST/API testing and data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD integration is a plus.
• Ability to design and execute test cases for both regression and integration testing.
• Experience with Benchling Signals Integration Testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, create and execute test cases for Benchling-Signals integration.
• Validate sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle updates across systems.
• Work with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Use XRAY/Jira to manage test cases and trace defects.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scripts and defects.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
