Job summary

EY in India is seeking a Quality Engineer to contribute to delivery of QA processes and ensure high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement test automation using Selenium/Playwright, and perform API testing with Postman. Excellent communication and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Experience on GxP testing is desirable.
• Experience in non-financial domains like Health, Life Science GxP, Consumer Products and Retail is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and pressure handling.
• Competent technical skills and team/individual work capability.
• Good organisational skills with deadline-driven focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver processes, solutions and projects by executing planned activities and informing recommendations.
• Own work and meet targets impacting the immediate team.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA and ALM.
• Work with test automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Perform API testing with Postman, SoapUI or ReadyAPI.
• Meet performance objectives on client service, quality and risk management.
• Gather requirements, prepare test scenarios and scripts, execute tests and report defects.
• Participate in status calls, Scrum meetings and client meetings.
• Train new resources on the project and provide ongoing support.
• Provide status reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for contributing to the delivery of processes, solutions and/or projects, by delivering agreed activities, researching and presenting relevant information to inform recommendations.
• Accountable for delivering own work and meeting required targets which impact the immediate team.
• Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA & ALM.
• Working knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright etc.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI)
• Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)
• Responsible in requirement gathering/analysis, prepare test scenarios & test scripts based on the requirements, execute the planned test cases and report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process.
• Participate in the status calls, Scrum calls and client meetings.
• Train the new resources in the project and help them in all possible ways.
• Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA & ALM.
• Status reporting to various stakeholders

Skills Required:

• Should have experience on any of Non-Financial domains like Health, Life Science GxP, Consumer Products and Retail
• Good to have experience in working on products like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Veeva etc.
• 3-5 Years of experience in Quality Engineering
• Experience on GxP testing is desirable
• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly.
