Job summary

EY in Mumbai seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own integration test design and execution for benchling-signals based workflows. You will build and run XRAY-backed test plans, validate data synchronization and reagent lifecycle metadata exchanges, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing or QA with data integration focus.
• Experience with Benchling or signals-based integration testing is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of test design, regression/integration testing and defect lifecycles.
• Familiar with XRAY, Jira-integrated test management and CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, create and execute test cases for data integration workflows.
• Validate sample data synchronization and metadata exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
