Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced test automation and integration specialist in Hyderabad. You will work on Benchling and Signals integration testing, ensure data synchronization, and validate reagent lifecycle status across systems.

You’ll design and execute tests in XRAY, collaborate with integration teams, and help maintain traceability from requirements to defects. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with REST/API testing, and CI/CD integration exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience with Benchling or Signals (Revvity/Signals One) or lab informatics systems.
• Strong understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows.
• Exposure to XRAY and test automation frameworks like Selenium/Robot/Tosca.
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
• Familiarity with REST/API testing and data validation across systems.
• Proven ability in designing and executing test cases and regression testing.
• Defect lifecycle management and traceability from requirements to defects.
• Experience in Benchling Signals integration testing and working with integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Design, create, and execute test cases in XRAY (Jira-integrated).
• Validate integration flows for sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle status.
• Review integration design specifications and ensure traceability to requirements and defects.
• Coordinate across systems to ensure metadata exchange and data integrity.

Relevant experience – 5+ years

• Experience with:
  • Benchling OR
  • Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR
  • Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with:
