Job summary

Timewatch Infocom is seeking a candidate to manage Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations and handle various e-procurement activities. The role involves participation in bids and tenders while ensuring compliance with government procurement procedures.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and handle Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations and other e‑procurement portals.
• Search, analyze, and participate in GeM bids, tenders, reverse auctions, and government procurement opportunities.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial documents for tender participation.
• Manage product catalog uploads, price updates, and OEM authorizations on the GeM portal.
• Coordinate with government departments, customers, sales, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth execution of orders.
• Ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with tender requirements and GeM policies.
• Maintain records of bids, orders, payments, and customer communications.
• Support order processing, documentation, and post‑order activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Tender Management, GeM Portal Operations, Bid Management, and Government Procurement.
• Candidates with experience in the Electronic Security industry will be preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in Biometric Attendance Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Surveillance, Entrance Automation, Boom Barriers, Turnstiles, Flap Barriers, Swing Gates, Metal Detectors, Visitor Management Systems, Parking Management Solutions, RFID, UHF, and related Security Solutions.
• Strong knowledge of GeM Portal, Reverse Auctions, Tender Documentation, and E‑Procurement processes.
• Good understanding of government procurement procedures and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and excellent documentation and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
