Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tenders Executive who specializes in the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end bidding operations, including identifying relevant government tenders, preparing technical and financial bids, managing product uploads, and tracking contract execution. The ideal candidate will have deep practical knowledge of GeM functionalities, reverse auctions, and public procurement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Portal Management: End-to-end handling of the GeM portal, including registration, profile maintenance, and brand/OEM approval processes.
• Tender Identification: Tracking and analyzing daily GeM bids, direct purchase options, and L1 purchase cycles relevant to our business.
• Cataloging: Creating and uploading product/service catalogs on GeM, ensuring correct categorization, pricing updates, and inventory management.
• Bid Preparation: Preparing, compiling, and scrubbing all technical and financial documentation (such as EMD/Bid Security, MAF, turnovers, and compliance certificates) required for submission.
• Bidding Execution: Submitting bids accurately ahead of deadlines and actively participating in online Reverse Auctions (RA) and financial openings.
• Compliance & Tracking: Monitoring bid status, responding to clarifications requested by buyers, and managing the post-order lifecycle (accepting orders, generating PRC/CRAC, and tracking payments).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of active experience handling GeM bidding and cataloging
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, IT, or a related field
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data sorting), MS Word, and PDF editing
• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of General Financial Rules (GFR), custom bids, and BOQ formats
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, deadline-driven, and excellent written English communication
