Job summary

Mtandt Group is seeking a detail-oriented Tender Executive with hands-on GeM and government procurement experience to manage end-to-end tender activities in MRO products, including bidding, documentation, and compliance.

The role requires strong pricing strategy, cross-functional coordination with sales, procurement and technical teams, and willingness to travel within Chennai to liaise with government offices and gather tender information.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of tendering experience in MRO / PPE / Tools / Industrial products.
• Strong hands-on GeM portal and government tendering experience.
• Proven experience in bidding, reverse auctions, and tender documentation.
• Good understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within the city for field visits to government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete tender lifecycle from identification to follow-up.
• Handle tendering activities on GeM Portal and other government e-procurement platforms.
• Regularly track and identify new tender opportunities related to MRO products (PPE & Tools).
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids with accuracy and within deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all tender requirements, technical specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate internally with sales, procurement, and technical teams for bid preparation.
• Travel within Chennai to government offices and agencies to collect tender-related information and build relationships.
• Maintain proper records of tenders, submissions, and outcomes for reporting and analysis.
• Participate in reverse auctions and online bidding processes.
• Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to enhance bid success rate.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive with strong experience in government tendering processes, especially through the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and other government procurement platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in end-to-end tender management, bidding, and coordination with government agencies.

This role requires a candidate who is well‑versed in compliance, documentation, and pricing strategies, along with the willingness to travel within the city to liaise with government departments and gather relevant tender information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in any discipline (Engineering/Commerce preferred).
