Job summary

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd in the Oil & Gas division invites applications for a Tendering Engineer in Mumbai. The role targets a mechanical or civil engineer with 3–4 years of tendering experience, particularly in oil & gas pipelines and plants.

Responsibilities include managing bid documents, coordinating with departments, obtaining EMD, and ensuring timely responses to client queries. Strong MS Office skills and portal handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer (Mechanical or Civil) with 3-4 years of experience.
• Experience in tendering and preferably from Oil & Gas Pipelines and Plants.

Responsibilities

• Download & upload tender documents from government portals and emails.
• Circulate tender documents and addenda for inputs.
• Prepare/compile Technical Bid (E‑Bid & Physical Bid).
• Submit domestic & international bids via portals, email or physical submission.
• Prepare responses to post-bid queries for client submission.
• Coordinate with other departments for bid inputs and tender related works.
• Coordinate with Finance to arrange EMD and ensure NDA/Confidentiality aligned.
• Coordinate with Engineering for technical queries and submission to client.
• Check if company meets Tender Qualification Criteria.
• Assist Estimation team; prepare commercial bid.
• Handle digital signatures for e-bid submission where applicable.
• Track tenders on tender portals and prepare EOI.
• Maintain Tender Registers and ISO/ABAC documents.

Job Opening for Tendering Engineer at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd in the Oil & Gas division.

Job location: Mumbai - Santacruz (Only apply if Mumbai based)

Experience: 3-5yrs into the similar profile

Candidate should be Graduate Engineer preferably Mechanical / Civil with 3-4 years of experience.

Candidate should have experience in tendering and preferably from Oil & Gas Pipelines and Plants

Candidates profile:

• To download & upload tender documents (domestic & international) from the concern website / government portal / email links.
• Circulate tender documents/addendum to all concerned persons for their respective inputs
• Preparation / compilation of the Technical Bid (E-Bid & Physical Bid for domestic & international tenders)
• Submit the domestic & international Bids through tender portal / email / physical submission.
• Preparation / compilation of responses to post bid queries and submission to Client through tender portal / email.
• Coordinate with other department/inter department for bid preparation works and obtaining their inputs timely.
• Coordinate with all stake holders for tender related works.
• Coordinate with Finance Team and arrange to get EMD as per Tender requirements. Track Tender EMD release for domestic and international Tender
• Coordinate with Contract Team to get the NDA, Confidentiality Agreement signed and acquire Contractual Queries related to tender.
• Coordinate with Engineering Team to get the Technical Queries related to tender and submit it to Client. Track Query responses received from Client.
• Check whether Company meets the Tender Qualification Criteria.
• Supporting the Estimation Team
• Assistance in preparation of Commercial Bid.
• Handle digital signature and digitally sign the e-bid before submission wherever applicable as per tender requirement.
• Track Tenders on tender portals
• Prepare / Compile EOI.
• Maintaining Tender Registers, department ISO Documents, ABAC Documents, etc.

Other Skill:

• Good knowledge of handling online tender portals and portal registration
• Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point.
• Good knowledge of handling large-size documents, sharing large-size documents through link, compressing large-size documents, document management.
• Good verbal and email communication
