Job summary

JobItUs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is seeking an experienced Tendering/Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end tendering activities for Oil & Gas, EPC and industrial projects. You will review technical and commercial requirements, prepare estimates and tender documents, and coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive proposals.

The role requires 7+ years in tendering/proposal management, with a background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Tendering/Proposal Management.
• Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Oil & Gas / EPC / Engineering / Industrial Projects experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tender preparation, estimation, costing and proposal submission.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle tendering, EOI, open tender identification and proposal submissions.
• Review tender documents, technical/commercial requirements and contractual terms.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, bid documents and techno-commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors during the tendering process.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and support negotiations.
• Track labour, steel, copper, nickel, commodity prices and currency exchange rates.
• Identify project risks, assumptions and contingencies during estimation.
• Maintain records of estimates, assumptions and tender submissions.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and client interactions.
