Job summary

Mantras2success Consultants in Ahmedabad is seeking a Sr. Engineer Tendering with 7+ years of experience to lead tendering activities for Oil & Gas / EPC projects. You will review documents, prepare estimates, and coordinate with clients and vendors to submit competitive proposals.

The role includes tracking prices, assessing risks, and preparing techno-commercial bids, while participating in pre-bid meetings and site visits to secure successful tenders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of tendering/proposal management experience.
• Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Industrial Projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tender prep, estimation and costing.
• Good grasp of technical and commercial tender documents.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle tendering, EOI, open tender identification and proposal submissions.
• Review tender documents, technical/commercial requirements and contractual terms.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, bid documents and techno-commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors during the tendering process.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and support negotiations.
• Track labour, steel, copper, nickel, commodity prices and currency exchange rates.
• Identify project risks, assumptions and contingencies during estimation.
• Maintain records of estimates, assumptions and tender submissions.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and client interactions.
