Job summary

Bajaj Electricals in Mumbai seeks a Tendering and Estimation professional for Lighting BU to drive bids, cost estimation and risk analysis. You will identify tender opportunities, coordinate inputs and ensure compliant submissions.

Role requires BE/BTech with strong data analysis, tendering skills and cross-functional collaboration with sales, design and execution teams to win profitable orders.

Qualifications

• BE/ BTech (Electrical /Mechanical / Lighting/ Electronics) is required.
• Strong data analysis and tendering skills.
• Experience in pre-qualification validation, commercial validation and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify tenders for bidding from government/private e-portal and sales/KAM teams.
• Coordinate inputs for offer/tender preparation with all concerns.
• Support validation and risk analysis before tender participation or tender support decision.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for tender/offer preparation.
• Support techno-commercial evaluation of vendors offers and selection for budget cost.
• Review tenders and major enquiries cost estimation before final submission with BU head/Commercial head/CFO/ED as per SOPs.
• Submit tenders online and via hard copies as required.
• Prepare win/loss analysis and decide POOGI actions with higher management.
• Arrange KOM as per SOPs and hand over to execution after LOA/PO.

Role & responsibilities

Tendering and estimation of projects and products for Lighting BU to achieve desired results as per KPI and goals set by organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify tenders for bidding received from different government/private e-portal and sales/KAM team.
• Assist in co-ordination with all concerns for making inputs full kit for preparation of offer and tender.
• Support pre-qualification validation, commercial validation and Risk analysis before taking direct participation or tender support decision for tenders.
• Assist in co-ordination with all cross functional teams like sales, lighting design, structural, system designs, product managers, execution, commercial and legal as per requirement of offer/tender preparation.
• Support techno-commercial evaluation of vendors offer and selection correct vendor for budget cost working.
• Review of tenders and major enquiries cost estimation before final submission along with BU head/Commercial head/CFO/ED as per SOPs.
• Submit tenders online by making e-portal settings and hard copy submissions as per requirement.
• Preparing win/loss analysis of tenders and deciding POOGI actions and winning strategy along with higher management.
• Arrange KOM as per SOPs and full kit handing over to execution after receipt of LOA/PO.
