Job summary
Specialise Instruments Marketing Company seeks a technically adept sales professional to engage with professors and scientists, translating requirements into laser system configurations for CW, FIR, DPSS, and tunable lasers. You will support pre-installation through after-sales service and identify new business opportunities.
The role demands deep knowledge of laser physics, beam diagnostics, and high-speed imaging, with 2+ years of photonics sales experience.
Qualifications
- M.sc or B.Tech/M.Tech in Physics, Electronics, or Instrumentation.
- 2+ years of successful sales experience in photonics or laser instrumentation.
- Familiarity with lasers, spectroscopy, and beam diagnostics is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Engage in technical discussions with professors and scientists to understand laser system needs.
- Configure CW, FIR, DPSS, pulsed lasers, tunable lasers, spectroscopy and photonics applications as required.
- Provide pre-installation, installation and after-sales support for all allotted instruments/product lines.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

Desired Qualification: M.sc/ B. Tech/ M. Tech in Physics / Electronics OR Instrumentation or equivalent
Job Responsibility:
- Technical discussion with Professor/Scientists, understand their requirements, configure the system as per requirement for CW Lasers, FIR Lasers, DPSS lasers, Pulsed lasers, High Speed cameras, Tunable lasers (Spectroscopy, Laser, photonics & optics applications)
- Self-motivated to find out new opportunities.
- Strong familiarity with laser physics, beam diagnostics, and high-speed imaging principles.
- Technical Sales and Service support for all the existing system.
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients
- Pre-installation, Installation and after sales support for all the allotted instruments/product line.
- Carry out research to identify new business opportunities.
Required Experience: 2+ years of successful sales experience in the photonics, laser, or scientific instrumentation industry
