Job summary

Mohnot Instruments Mumbai is seeking an entry-level sales professional to drive new business in engineering and research sectors. This onsite role in Mumbai involves direct sales, demonstrations, and customer meetings.

You will identify customers, tailor technical solutions, prepare quotations, and build long-term relationships with engineers, researchers, and decision-makers across industries.

Qualifications

• Motion capture and motion analysis systems knowledge.
• EMG and wearable sensor technology familiarity.
• IMU-based measurement systems understanding.
• Force plates and related biomechanics concepts.
• Engineering, ergonomics, robotics, automotive and research applications.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through direct sales and market development.
• Identify and develop new customers across industries, engineering companies, research institutions, universities and laboratories.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries, negotiations and orders.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers, engineers, researchers, professors and technical teams.
• Regular field visits and customer meetings.
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences, workshops and technical events.
• Develop new territories and application areas for our products.
• Coordinate with principals/manufacturers for technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and convert leads into orders.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards the growth of both divisions.
