Job Description
Podhikai is looking for a dedicated, high-energy SalesExecutive to maintain and grow our Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics,Industrial, and Academic sales efforts within Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chattisgarhand Madhya Pradesh.
The executive must develop and manage customerrelationships in Material science, photonics, Semiconductor, pharma andresearch sectors.
- 1. Promoteand sell Scientific instruments, characterization systems, optical andphotonics instruments, analytical equipment, laboratory instruments, andconsumables within the assigned territory.
- 2. Identifynew business opportunities and develop a strong customer base.
- 3. Meetassigned sales targets and achieve territory growth objectives.
- 4. Conductcustomer visits, product presentations, demonstrations, and technicaldiscussions.
- 5. Generateenquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- 6. Buildand maintain long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
- 7. Followup on leads, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and payments.
- 8. Handlegovernment and institutional tenders, GEM portal activities, bid preparation,documentation, and tender submissions.
- 9. Coordinatewith application scientists and service engineers to ensure successful productinstallations and customer satisfaction.
- 10. Participatein exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and scientific seminars.
- 11. Monitorcompetitor activities and provide market intelligence.
- 12. Maintainaccurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and activity reports.
- 13. Handlepost-sales activities effectively and maintain strong customer relationships toensure customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term business growth.
- 14. Prepareweekly and monthly sales reports and submit them to the Regional Manager.
- 15. Travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Requirements
- 1. Bachelor’sor master’s degree in chemistry, Physics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2. 0 -3years of experience in scientific instrument or laboratory equipment sales.
- 3. Understandingof Materials Science, Optics, Characterization Techniques, Machine learning andAnalytical Laboratory Workflows.
- 4. Experiencein institutional sales and tender handling is preferred.
- 5. Excellentcommunication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- 6. Strongcustomer relationship management abilities.
- 7. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications.
