Job summary

Mohnot Instruments Mumbai is seeking a technically oriented Sales Engineer to drive direct sales of electrical test & measurement instruments across industries.

You will conduct product presentations, identify customers, prepare quotations, and visit sites regularly to develop new territories and build relationships with engineers and researchers.

Qualifications

• Mid-level sales experience in electrical/test equipment.
• Willingness to travel across India.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through direct sales and market development.
• Identify and develop new customers across industries, engineering companies, research institutions, universities and laboratories.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries, negotiations and orders.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers, engineers, researchers, professors and technical teams.
• Regular field visits and customer meetings.
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences, workshops and technical events.
• Develop new territories and application areas for our products.
• Coordinate with principals/manufacturers for technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and convert leads into orders.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute towards the growth of both divisions.
