Job summary

izmo Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a highly proactive Technical Recruiter for emerging technology roles. The candidate will build talent pipelines for specialized tech areas including semiconductor, silicon photonics, quantum security and cybersecurity.

Strong sourcing, market mapping and candidate qualification skills are essential. You will work from the office in Whitefield, Bangalore, with 3–5 years of recruitment experience and a preference for corporate/in-house recruitment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably technical recruitment.
• Preference for corporate/in-house recruitment experience.
• Proven experience in sourcing and hiring specialized technical talent.
• Strong ability in market mapping, competitor mapping and talent-pool identification.
• Excellent sourcing and Boolean search skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical requirements and convert them into sourcing strategies.
• Conduct talent-market mapping to identify target companies and passive candidates.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, Boolean searches and referrals.
• Build pipelines for niche technical roles across cryptography, cybersecurity, Linux, embedded systems and related technologies.
• Screen candidates to assess technical relevance, communication, career stability and availability.
• Identify hands-on experience and avoid keyword-driven profiles.
• Prepare concise candidate summaries and present to hiring panel.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and incorporate interview feedback to improve pipelines.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on pipeline.

We are looking for a highly proactive Technical Recruiter to build talent pipelines for specialised technology products in semiconductor, silicon photonics, quantum security and cybersecurity.

The role requires strong talent-market mapping, niche sourcing and candidate qualification skills. You should be able to understand technical requirements, identify the right talent pools and present only relevant, interview-ready candidates to the technical panel.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand technical requirements and convert them into effective sourcing strategies.
• Conduct talent-market mapping to identify target companies, teams, skill pools and passive candidates.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, Boolean/X-ray searches, referrals and other channels.
• Build pipelines for niche technical roles across cryptography/PQC, cybersecurity, security architecture, Linux, backend, FPGA, embedded systems and related technologies.
• Conduct thorough first-level screening to assess technical relevance, communication, career stability, compensation and availability.
• Identify genuine hands-on experience and avoid profiles that are primarily keyword-driven.
• Prepare concise candidate summaries and recommend suitable profiles to the hiring panel.
• Work closely with technical hiring managers, understand interview feedback, and continuously improve the talent pipeline.
• Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on pipeline and hiring progress.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in technical recruitment.
• Preference for candidates with corporate / in-house recruitment experience.
• Proven experience in sourcing and hiring specialised technical talent.
• Strong ability in market mapping, competitor mapping and talent-pool identification.
• Excellent sourcing and Boolean search skills.
• Ability to understand technical job descriptions and assess candidate relevance.
• Strong skills in screening and qualifying candidates for the panel interview round.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong stakeholder-management and follow-up skills.
• High ownership, persistence and ability to work independently.

Preferred Exposure

Experience of recruiting from the following areas will be an advantage:

Success in This Role

The successful candidate will be measured primarily on the quality and relevance of the talent pipeline, ability to reach difficult-to-find candidates, and conversion of sourced candidates into strong interview-ready profiles.
