Job summary

GBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a motivated US IT Recruiter to join our recruiting team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the US IT staffing market, with excellent sourcing, screening, and submission capabilities for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.

You will source via LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases and other platforms, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and negotiate terms with clients and candidates while building lasting

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years in US IT Recruiting or US Staffing.
• Strong understanding of the US IT recruitment lifecycle.
• Experience recruiting for Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data, QA, Cybersecurity, BA, Infra, PM.
• Hands-on use of LinkedIn Recruiter and major sourcing platforms.
• Good understanding of work authorization models and US processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals using LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, and other sourcing platforms.
• Review resumes and assess candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, work authorization, and job requirements.
• Conduct phone and video screenings to evaluate candidates' technical background and fit.
• Work with Account Managers and hiring managers to understand job requirements and expectations.
• Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate the submission process.
• Follow up with candidates and provide regular status updates throughout the process.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability with clients.
• Negotiate pay rates, salary, and employment terms with candidates as needed.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in the ATS/CRM.
• Build a strong pipeline of IT professionals for current and future needs.
• Develop long-term relationships with candidates and ensure a positive experience.
• Stay updated on US IT staffing trends, technologies, and hiring practices.

The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, qualifying, and submitting candidates for various IT roles while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in US IT Recruiting or US Staffing.
• Strong understanding of the US IT recruitment lifecycle.
• Experience recruiting for technologies such as Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data, QA, Cybersecurity, Business Analysis, Infrastructure, and Project Management.
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar sourcing platforms.
• Good understanding of W2, 1099, C2C, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire hiring models.
• Familiarity with US work authorization categories and staffing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
