Vesper Group is seeking a Poultry Technical Manager to drive sales and provide veterinary technical support across Namakkal territory. The role blends field sales, customer relationship management, and on-farm technical service visiting poultry farms, feed mills, and dealers to grow business, support product usage, and improve production.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma/degree with 1–3 years in veterinary or poultry feed sales, strong knowledge of poultry health and nutrition,

Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed: B.Tech in Poultry Technology preferred; B.V.Sc or Diploma in Veterinary Science or B.Sc in Animal Science / Agriculture / Poultry also considered.
• 1-3 years of experience in veterinary/animal health/poultry feed sales preferred; freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice on disease management and production improvement.

Responsibilities

• Field Sales & Coverage: visit poultry farms, feed mills, and dealers; achieve sales targets; manage dispatch follow-up and payments within terms.
• Business Development: onboard new customer farms, integrators, feed mills, and distributors; expand dealer network; report market intelligence.
• Technical & Veterinary Support: provide on-farm guidance on product use, disease management, biosecurity, and flock health.
• Relationship Management: maintain relationships with farms, dealers, and key accounts; conduct meetings and product demonstrations.
• Reporting: submit daily call reports and maintain territory records.

Position: Poultry Technical Manager

Role Summary

The Poultry Technical Manager is responsible for driving sales and providing veterinary technical support for Vesper Group's poultry product range across the assigned Namakkal territory. The role combines field sales, customer relationship management, and on-farm technical service visiting poultry farms, feed mills, and dealers to develop business, support product usage, advise on disease management and production improvement, and build long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales & Coverage

• Conduct regular planned visits to poultry farms (broiler, layer, breeder), feed mills, and dealers within the Namakkal territory
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned product range
• Ensure timely Job Preview ration, dispatch follow-up, and payment collection within credit terms

Business Development

• Identify and onboard new customers farms, integrators, feed mills, and channel partners
• Expand the dealer/distributor network and improve product penetration in the territory
• Map competitor activity, pricing, and new product movements; report market intelligence

Technical & Veterinary Support

• Provide on-farm technical guidance on product selection, dosage, and usage protocols
• Advise farmers on disease management, biosecurity, and flock health to minimize mortality and morbidity
• Provide technical advice on production improvement — optimizing growth, FCR, egg production, and overall farm productivity
• Advise on poultry nutrition and flock management as it relates to the product range
• Troubleshoot field issues, gather product performance feedback, and coordinate with the technical/veterinary team for complaints or trials

Relationship Management

• Maintain strong, service-led relationships with existing farms, dealers, and key accounts
• Conduct farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and awareness programs
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the territory

Reporting

• Submit daily call reports, visit plans, and sales activity updates
• Maintain accurate customer and territory records

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Tech in Poultry Technology preferred; B.V.Sc, Diploma in Veterinary Science, or B.Sc (Animal Science / Agriculture / Poultry) also considered
• Experience: 1-3 years in veterinary/animal health/poultry feed sales preferred; freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered
• Demonstrated capacity to provide technical advice on disease management and production

• Sound knowledge of poultry health, nutrition, and farm management
• Strong communication skills in Tamil (essential) and working English
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with extensive field travel
