Head of Technical Support for poultry feed supplements at Nutreco, an SHV company. This senior role provides strategic and technical guidance to sales teams and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic guidance to account managers and sales teams.
• Offer on‑site technical assistance, create customized solutions, and support sales with technical and marketing materials.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on poultry feed supplements and conduct product demonstrations.
• Analyze data and customer information to develop solutions and drive initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and operations teams to align on projects and strategies.
• Train sales teams on technical aspects of the products.
• Stay updated on product research, market trends, and competitive developments.

Key accountabilities also cover:

• Serve as in‑house subject‑matter expert on all products, their application across species, and their impact on animal health and performance.
• Provide advanced pre‑ and post‑sales technical support to customers, distributors, and the internal sales team.
• Plan, execute and evaluate scientific and field trials, collaborating with R&D teams on new product applications.
• Develop nutritionally balanced feed formulations and oversee quality control processes.
• Design and deliver comprehensive technical and sales training programs.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Lead and mentor technical teams while working closely with sales, marketing, production, and procurement departments.
• Translate complex scientific data into accessible commercial formats.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project teams on business process and operational improvement issues.
• Control the department budget and ensure financial performance against KPI objectives.
• Organise, manage, develop and staff the department in line with corporate guidelines.

Qualifications
