Job summary

Paradeep Phosphates (PPL) is seeking a Training & Development professional to lead technical training for new hires and existing staff at our Goa facility. The role involves designing materials, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will deliver in-person and digital sessions, track progress, and coach employees to enhance technical competency. Strong organization and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 25 years of experience in technical training, technical support, manufacturing, engineering, IT, or similar roles.
• Experience in designing and delivering technical learning programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, manuals, and assessments.
• Identify training needs through skill-gap analysis and performance reviews.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on practical training sessions.
• Evaluate trainee performance through tests, practical assessments, and observations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to improve technical competency.
• Plan and schedule training calendars in coordination with department heads.
• Coordinate training logistics, including venues, equipment, attendance, and communication.
• Maintain training records, attendance reports, certifications, and documentation.
• Track employee training completion and certification status.
• Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external trainers when required.
• Measure training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Analyze training outcomes and recommend continuous improvements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports for management.
• Support quality initiatives by ensuring employees follow technical standards and best practices.
• Standardize training processes and documentation.
• Ensure all training content reflects current technical standards and organizational procedures.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Ensure mandatory technical and compliance training is completed within defined timelines.
• Maintain audit-ready training documentation.
• Support internal and external audits related to training records.
