Job summary

Involt Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Rajkot, Gujarat, invites a Team Member - Information Technology to support IT infrastructure across our solar cell manufacturing facility.

You will install and maintain hardware and software, support SAP ERP, and ensure data security while working closely with plant operations. Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of IT experience in manufacturing, with CCNA/MCSA or cybersecurity training, and hands-on SAP/Windows/Linux expertise.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/BTech in CS/IT or related field.
• 6–10 years of IT infra and support experience in manufacturing.
• Certifications in networking/system administration (e.g., CCNA, MCSA) and cybersecurity training.
• Experience with SAP ERP, Windows/Linux administration, LAN/WAN, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and network systems.
• Provide first-level IT support to plant users.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, servers, and data storage.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures and compliance with IT policies.
• Support SAP ERP and other business applications for smooth operations.
• Document IT assets, configurations, and incidents.
• Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and backups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT with plant operations.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT tasks under guidance.
• Engage in continuous learning of emerging IT technologies.

Job Purpose:

To support the IT team inensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructureand systems across the solar cell manufacturing plant and project. This rolecontributes to seamless business operations, data security, and technologyenablement, driving efficiency and innovation in alignment with organizationalgoals..

Working Conditions:

• This role will be carried out within amanufacturing plant environment located near Rajkot.
• Location: This role is based at ourmanufacturing facility located near Rajkot.
• Work Environment: The position operatesprimarily within a plant environment, which may involve exposure to noise,machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Work Schedule: Standard working hourswith occasional requirements for extended hours based on operational needs.Shift-based work may be applicable depending on the role and department.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal travel isexpected; however, occasional visits to vendors, training centers, or othercompany locations may be required.
• Safety Gear: Use of personal protectiveequipment (PPE) such as helmets, safety shoes, and ear protection is mandatoryin designated areas.
